Junglelab.io is an open source software platform & only offers non-custodial bitcoin liquid network wallets that enables artists and collectors to showcase, sell, and collect digital assets using bitcoin Liquid Network technology. Here's a breakdown of how to use its features:
- User Accounts: Create an account on Junglelab.io to access all the features available on the platform. Once you've created an account, you can set up your profile, including your custom avatar, contact information, and biography.
- Following and Liking: You can follow other artists and collectors on Junglelab.io and like/favorite individual artworks to stay updated on their latest works.
- Uploading Digital Media Files: As an artist, you can upload digital media files (jpg, png, gif, mp4) representing your artwork and add metadata like title, description, and tags. This metadata is important because it's published in the Liquid Asset Registry, making the tokens recognizable by external wallets.
- IPFS Network: Media files are added to the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) network upon being uploaded and are given a unique content identifier (CID) derived from the SHA256 hash of the file. The CID is embedded in the Liquid token issuance transaction contract, permanently and provably linking the file to the token.
- Marketplace Gallery: Digital Assets are listed in a searchable/sortable/filterable marketplace gallery. This gallery makes it easy for collectors to find the artworks they're interested in.
- Listing Artwork for Sale: As an artist, you can list your artwork for sale by setting an optional listing price, royalty rate, and/or auction period. Bids and sales are conducted peer-to-peer using atomic swaps, which means the platform host does not need to escrow funds.
- Activity Feed: Listings, bids, transfers, and new digital assets activity are logged and presented in a site-wide feed. This feed helps you keep track of the activity happening on the platform.
- Liquid Wallet: A web-based liquid wallet is integrated into the user's profile page, allowing them to fund their accounts with L-BTC or any kind of liquid asset. The wallet can be backed up and imported using a 12-word BIP mnemonic seed phrase.
- Coinos.io API: Junglelab.io has a built-in integration with the coinos.io API, which allows users to instantly convert BTC to L-BTC by depositing to an on-chain address or paying a lightning network invoice.
- Royalties and Auction Holding Periods: Royalties and auction holding periods are enforced through a 2-of-2 signing server that only signs off on transactions that meet certain conditions. This ensures that artists receive the appropriate royalties and that auctions are conducted fairly.
